In the interest of our collective health, I believe it is important to try to incorporate fruit into our daily diet. In the interest of our collective mental health, I believe it important to put bourbon on said fruit. Who is with me?

- 4 tbl unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar

- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup chopped walnuts

- Peal, halve and scoop out the center of the pears.
- Please pears cut side up in a small baking dish with just enough room for the pears to sit side by side.
